SCOPE: Preliminary design visualization, permitting, technical documents, construction administration, and project commissioning.

DESCRIPTION: The contractor’s palace. This remodel project included the addition of significant living space to this traditional south hill home in Spokane. The new space included a basement level, where the need for egress and ample light was a significant design driving factor. The front door arrival experience is one that is welcomed by the calming sounds of a bubbling fountain, offering a place to sit and enjoy the solitude of the space, or venture onward, to the front door.

The covered entry also incorporates a bridge which cross the “moat-like” feature below. The renovation included a fully functional outdoor kitchen as well as an integrated hot tub, accessible from the master suite. Mature street trees were salvaged as part of this major remodel as well.
