Joshua Tripp

Principal Landscape Architect

Mr. Tripp presents 25 years of diverse professional landscape architecture experience with an emphasis on site planning and detailed design. In addition to commercial/retail projects, Josh has provided collaborative services for medical facilities, technology campuses, educational institutions, tourism destinations, parks & recreation, and single-family residential projects. His understanding of landscape construction and the creative process ensures project tasks will be completed in a cost & time conscious manner. Josh engages the design team early on (ensuring client goals & objectives are clearly identified) and is a contributing member throughout project development and construction.

Throughout his career Josh has remained active in several local networking groups such as: Marketing Associates of Spokane, Spokane Executives Association, GSI Spokane, and the American Society of Landscape Architects – constantly looking for opportunities to connect with individuals, colleagues, and friends alike. He has been featured in local professional editorial publications (Inland Business Catalyst Magazine, 2011 - Top 20 under 40) and most recently, highlighted in Spokane Coeur d’Alene Living Magazines’ Honor Series which recognized local design talent.

Mr. Tripp earned his BSLA from Washington State University in 1997 where he received academic scholarships as well as completed international studies in Italy, Germany, and Copenhagen.

Tamra Lehuta

Senior Landscape Architect

Mrs. Lehuta’s landscape architecture experience spans over 35 years throughout the United States.  She has been directly involved with recreational design and master planning, commercial development, educational facilities, medical complexes, environmental enhancement and private residential estates.  Her design solutions embrace artistic flare that combine functionality and engineering of the landscape with foresight of sustainability and long-term operations.

  • Road/ADA Ramp GIS Inventory – Pasco, WA

  • Beaver Bark Gift and Garden Centers – Tri-Cities, WA

  • Missoula Urban Tree Inventory – Missoula, MT

  • County Parks & Recreational Growth Management Plans – Broomsfield, CO

Tamra is active as a member of the American Society of Landscape Architects in the Oregon and Washington Chapters. Her love for landscape architecture extends into her personal life. She is active in inspiring youth to explore an education and career in the field, as a guest speaker for Expanding Your Horizons. Her free time is heavily dedicated to the outdoors.

Jonathan Duran

Landscape Architect In-Training

Jonathan is a landscape  architect in training and a graduate of Washington State University. He joined the PLACE team in 2017 after logging nearly 3 years with local design-build and landscape construction companies. Without question, he is a work horse. Jonathan is also a very accomplished photographer, graphic artist, and father.

Sean McMillion

Landscape Architect In-Training

Sean is a Landscape Architect In-Training from the University of Wisconsin-Madison. He joined PLACE, offering 3 years of design-build experience in Midwestern Retreats to Mountain Estates. In his free time you’ll find him and his dog trekking down the local rivers with fishing rod in hand.

Cameron Roylance

Landscape Architect In-Training

 Cameron’s design philosophy is to beautify and take care of the environment and use it's characteristics to create unique places for people to enjoy.

Cameron has a unique perspective as a designer trained in landscape architecture that has also worked extensively in the field as a landscape foreman. This balance of creativity and construction savvy enables Cameron to develop practical design solutions while choosing from a range of materials and methods. Cameron's no-nonsense approach to resolving complex construction issues will ensure that your project is creatively conceived and assembled on budget.
